Social Development Minister Sisisi Tolashe has pledged her assist and dedication to improving upon South African Social Security Company (SASSA) services during an engagement with the company's senior supervisors at a strategic preparing session in Cape Town.
Tolashe on Tuesday expressed her heartfelt congratulations to the various social grant beneficiaries, who excelled from the 2024 matric examinations.
From the 724 156 full-time learners who registered for the National Senior Certificate (NSC), 572 338 are social grant beneficiaries, representing eighty one% from the registered pupils inside the education sector.
These learners obtained a commendable pass rate of 86%.
